Mud Pond Harvest

We are a family owned and operated Koi farm in Northeastern Pennsylvania since 2011. We do our best to supply Healthy, Beautiful Koi at reasonable prices. Most of our breeders are direct Japanese Imports ensuring quality and color. We have 75 ponds to grow and house our fish for sale giving you a huge selection of fish to choose from. We also offer customer service that is hard to beat! Our TOP priority is to keep your fish safe and healthy. If you have an issue, you can always call and we will do our best to assist you with whatever it is you need. We have Koi ranging in price from the beginner/hobbyist level all the way to the expert keeper! Our fish stand out amongst others by following the japanese standard through an intense sorting process.

Meet The Team

Peter Goff - Owner & President

Peter and his wife Clista started Mountain Top Koi in 2011 following their passion for koi after running an exotic pet and aquarium store for over a decade. Peter’s knowledge of the koi and his focus on genetics has continually raised the bar for the quality of fish that we are able to provide to our customers, and they keep getting better every year.

Clista Goff - General Manager

Clista is in charge of coordinating the daily tasks on the farm, including livestock care, shop, staff, facilities, and equipment. She also acts as the event planner and director for our open house events and contests. She works very hard to ensure that the rest of us are selling the koi rather than keeping them all for ourselves as we are often inclined to do.. and she is occasionally successful at it!

Levi Mitchell - Director of Installation and Maintenance

Levi has been part of the team since 2011. In 2023 he took over leading our pond installation and maintenance teams, ensuring the highest quality builds and service for our customers. Levi’s attention to detail and knowledge of the systems required for proper koi husbandry made him our natural choice for the position.

David McGinnis - Director of Business and Operations

David joined the koi community nearly 30 years ago as a hobbyist and his passion for these amazing fish has only grown since then. He has been a part of the Mountain Top Koi team since our first public event in 2013. We were able to bring him on as our Business and Operations Director in 2024. David is currently heading up several exciting new partnerships and an acquisition for the 2026 year.
